Banana Smoothie Recipe

Enjoy this easy to make Banana smoothie, ideal for the summer and great for the kids. To make the Bannana smoothie thicker you can freeze the bannana prior to making.


You Will Need:


  • 4 banana
  • 600 ml plain yogurt
  • 4 tablespoon honey
  • 32 ice cubes
  • 1 knife
  • some greaseproof paper
  • 1 measuring jug
  • 1 blender
  • 4 serving glass

How to make a Banana smoothie


Step One

To give the drink a thick consistency and to keep it cold, freeze the banana in advance. Peel the banana and chop it into quarters. Then wrap it in greaseproof paper and place in the freezer


Step Two

Add the Plain Yogurt to the blender followed by the frozen banana, ice cubes and honey. If you have a small blender this can be done in smaller quantities.


Step Three

Blend all the mixture until smooth. If the mixture is to thick add some milk until you achieve the required thickness.


Step Four

Serve immediately or chill in a fridge until ready to drink
